The first paintings were only an expression of his moods or inner feelings then, as his path of existential research became more aware, he began to paint no longer only for himself but to leave traces of an inner path to be left to the posterity; in particular he approaches the study of Savitri, the Supreme Revelation of Sri Aurobindo's vision, and at the end of the 90s he finishes the first complete collection of watercolors inspired by the book I cantos I-II-III-IV-V; of which Mère's elderly disciple, Kailas Jhaveri, in January 2019 at the Exhibition Hall - Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, said: "No one has ever done a job like that of Aghni: he was able to explain Savitri word by word despite the extreme difficulty of the poem. "

Before that it was Jayantilal, a disciple of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, painter, art teacher and head of the archives and researches of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, who in year 1996, after seeing a good part of these inspired watercolors, made a assertion that today some members of the centre still remember:

 

“One day the Mother told me that “One day, in the future, there will be painters capable of expressing strength and beauty together”: now I know that Aghni is one of them”.

 

In our Italian centre we have collected this immense artistic heritage, transforming it into cultural-educational material by placing the caption or corresponding Savitri's verse under each painting, the oil on canvas have been faithfully reproduced both on smaller canvases and on paper and today we are ready to exhibit all this material; in winter 2018-2019 some members of our Centre left for Pondicherry where some elderly disciples of the Mother were waiting for us to be able to show them and other devotees this great work. The first stop was at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Exhibition Hall where from 12 to 21 December 2018 we exhibited the 626 watercolors referring to the 626 verses of book I, Canto V of Savitri, the second stop was at the Savitri Bhavan in Auroville , where in January 2019 we exhibited 61 original oil on canvas, with dimensions of 50 x 60 cm, of which 49 representing each Canto and 12 representing each Book of Savitri. Also in January 2019 we returned to the Exhibition House where we exhibited 120 watercolors inspired to the book "The Mother" by Sri Aurobindo, 35 watercolors inspired to the "Hour of God", an essay written by Sri Aurobindo, finally 100 schemes in Italian and 50 already translated into English which illustrate the studies conducted in our Centre on the Plans and Parts of Being according to the teachings of Sri Aurobindo.

After these 3 exhibitions even though we already had the return ticket, a Mère's disciple, Tara Jauhar who directs the Sri Aurobindo Ashram - Delhi branch, having received very positive news about our artistic work, asked us to join her in New Delhi to stay in Ashram during the commemoration of Ashram’s foundation on February 12, 2019 and the Anniversary of the birth of the Mother on February 21; we gladly accepted the invitation and so in early February we left Madras with all our equipment to reach New Delhi with the "Tamil Nadu Express" train; until that moment  the Delhi Ashram had never built an Exhibition House so we decided, with Tara didi, to use the Ashram’s walls and the adjacent school blackboards to exhibit everything we already had exhibited at the Savitri Bhavan and the Exhibition Hall adding 57 watercolors that Aghni had just painted in January 2019 in his room at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Park Guest House.

Also in New Delhi the Ashramites thanked Aghni for his work which was very evocative of the Aurobindo’s themes he chose and thanks to which even the children of the ashram school were attracted to ask questions in particular on the not yet depth studied poem Savitri which, with these paintings, has become more affordable and familiar to all.

In order to continue with the creation of our "traveling exhibitions" and fixed one, we need funds, both for travel and to print new material that must be increasingly lighter and less bulky to transport and with the addition of captions in different languages ​​to expand the number of the knowers of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother’s writings.
